So I posted this on the k-1 visa forum too...but my fiance is trying to get his police reports early so that we don't have to worry about it, he'll be going to Dakar for his interview and such. But I was wondering which police reports he should get, Gendarme reports or Police reports? Or both? And does anybody know how long it takes to get them? I feel like everything takes twice as long as it should in Mali!! Can they just write up the report and give it to him the same day? Do they even have official police records in Mali? I feel like you could just pay someone at the police to make up a report for you.

Any help on getting police reports would be helpful! Trying to get as much stuff done now as we can to reduce the stress of having to go to Senegal.

Thanks!
