Wow it took long enough to get a Jolibee in Hawaii  . Oh well when me and the wife can afford to pay 400 dollars to fly to Oahu, we may try it.

Yeah, Oahu get's everything 1st! I'm betting Maui's next

I don't know - Jollibee is no different than McDee's or another fast food chain, other than it originated in the Philippines (by a Chinese businessman). I realize it's become iconic with Filipino culture, but the food tastes like your typical fast food variety. I'd much rather have an authentic Filipino restaurant open up in town than a Jollibee.

I ate some Filipino food in Hawaii, Honolulu in the Waikiki area. It was next to the hotel we stayed at during our honeymoon. It's a small place you walk up and order then sit in the food court. There were many different types of restaurants and at night on stage hulu girls danced and entertainers sang there.

I spent six weeks in Bayugan this summer. I ate at the Jolibee in the Butuan mall. I am now officially a fan. But I don't think there will be one here in San Antonio anytime soon. :(

Oh well San Antonio has Taco Cabana, I would rather eat there than Jolibee. I can get good Filipino food here in Hawaii. And how about them Spurs, they look good again.

What’s wrong no one posting blogs,:P so you got to complain in this thread. Your more then likely to get a Ponchos Mexican restaurant, in your town then a real authentic Filipino restaurant, just set back and pull up the lil-flag!

I found this topic kinda entertaining considering my fiancee picked up some Jollibee on the way home from shopping. She always gives me a bad time about liking Jollibee, but there's a great variety of food there, burgers, fried chicken, spaghetti, fried fish...goes on and on. I should add that she gives me a bad time, but she LOVES their fried chicken, and that's what we had tonite! Langhap Sarap!

I totally agree.. They built one up here in the Northwest...and I still haven't gone in... Give me Inasal restaurant anytime...althought.. Jollibee did buy out a big stake in Inasal... hmmm...

Now I'm hungry for some chicken inasal..

As for burger places, I'd definitely choose Jolibee over McDonald's. I'd take Whataburger over either one, but Jolibee was just fine for me. My only complaint with Jolibee is that they always seemed crowded. I guess that's a good problem for a business to have.

Taco Cabana is fine, but here in San Antonio there are Mexican food restaurants everywhere you turn. I'm not complaining but I am getting fatter.

Go Spurs Go. It's time for another river parade.
