Now what?

I think I must be the anti christ - my hair keeps getting darker like mitt romney and i just keep getting more successful and richer and richer and my wives get younger and more beautiful and more intelligent and accomplished

I reckon big D must be behind it all

Well if Sarah and Pat Robertson and Crespo Dollar and W and ####### Cheney and Glenn and Rush are going up to the penthouse - then I will take the ground floor/basement anytime

These scientific theories bring to a point where we still have to wonder if there is a God or not. How does something come from nothing.

There is a logical argument for that, if you consider that nothing occupies no space-time, therefore the space-time, between existences, is nil, and therefore something must always exist. In mathematic terms, you could define a null universe, but without any members, that universe still would not exist, except symbolically.

The main thing is:

Don't do tithing

Try standing for office if you are gay (Barny Frank) but you have ZERO chance if you are an unbeliever in the USA where you are rated lower than whale poop by Curtis and Darleen who rely on big g to push the tornadoes away from their property

This is the level of intellect we are dealing with when hoping we will not be discriminated against - null value universes don't come into it

null value anti-gullibility quotients do

tip:

When they say " We are Jehovah's Witnesses"

Say "Why, what did he do?"

Don't blame the religious, or the non-religious. Blame the zealot, that not only strongly believes one way, or another, but will not be satisfied until everybody believes exactly the same thing, be it politics, sexual preference, or which shape of rock you burn sacrifices in front of. It is one Universe, but many models describe it. Celebrate the diversity of such reflections on the Nature of the Universe. There are no "correct" answers. Today's answer is likely to be tomorrow's superstition.

After all, you can see where you have been, you might know where you are, but any expectation of what the future holds should be suspect.

The future is easy - I (and all the aged religious) are going to the crem in the next few years where my atoms will go all over the world and they will then be combined into the bodies of the next generation of children despite what the department of homeland security or the whole of the US military tries to do about it - that's quite spiritual and a form of eternal life and as close as I want to get

I didn't expect to live this long, being taught that sooner, or later, the Yanks and Ruskies were going to exchange missiles and vaporize the planet. Had I known this was not going to happen, I may have taken better care of myself, and not tried to cram so much life into so few years. But even still, as tired a fossil as I am, I can see living at least another three or four decades, if the plumbing doesn't clog. Isn't modern medicine grand? (And your grandchildren pay for it all.)

If science cannot explain something, does it mean that we should make up silly stories to explain it?

Of course not but who needs silly stories maybe God has no purpose for us what so ever. I just dont think we know enough about the universe to take intelligent design off the table.

If we are too complex to have evolved then how do you explain the origin of the designer? But if you are referring to the possibility that our own evolution could have been influenced at some point by other highly evolved and intelligent life in the universe I would agree, we don't know.

I know it's scary that I might live another 40 if I am unlucky but we don't know so the kids will have to wait before they get my BP shares which Cramer said were worthless and are up 60% since he said that - typical that his

OO-ESS-HAY nationalism gets ahead of his financial sense.

The Matthew Parris interview was good. He admitted his brain is creaking now he is in his 60's.

I think old age is nature's method of adjusting our attitude to welcoming the exit door although my mother died last year and her final words were 'I don't want to die'. Lifelong christians don't live any longer than the rest and some like martin loofer get killed by other christians. You would have thought that big g would have have given em a bonus 10 here on earth.

As it is there are no bonus miles in this veil of tears but I won't need to sit on g's right hand for eternity as it sounds bloody uncomfortable for starters and I don't think they allow cats unless they have been declawed - which mine never will be

It's hilarious that all the christians who denied evolution for so long and punished those who suggested it, are now embracing it and weaving it into their ideology to make their god seem even cleverer in creating the system and then steering evolution with his genius !

shameless - they should admit they were wrong to pick on the discoverer of evolution before they meekly ask to come on board with the rest of us - then we should say no - sign up for the original concept or stick with your burning bushes and talking snakes
