NVC only scheduling second week of each month?

I just received my SIF fail today, and when I called the operator she said there is no way to get a January interview at this point and that they only schedule the second week of each month. I don't have a problem with having an interview in February, I would just not like to wait until January 10 to know when my interview will be.

Is this my only option at this point?

NVC: IV and AOS bills showed as PAID. Printed barcode cover sheets: 2010-10-27

NVC: snail mailed IV and AOS packages: 2010-10-28

NVC: entered IV and AOS packages into system: 2010-11-16

NVC: RFE, co-sponsor proof of citizenship: 2010-11-24 (even though I sent it with the IV pkg)

That's NVC standard message...keeping calling till it's scheduled. We have seem VJ members whose interview date were schedule thrid week of the month.

yes, if you remember 'Svenkatc' from October NVC filer thread, he got his interview date on 11/30.

My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

12/08/10 - RFE response entered into NVC system

01/03/11 - Interview date assigned for Feb 15 @ 1:30 PM

Hello, Does that mean an interview date could be assigned at any time not particularly at the 15th of every month like NVC says

07-20-2010: I-130 package mailed.

07-22-2010: I-130 Package Received - Priority Date.

07-29-2010: Received text & email from USCIS - Notice Date.

07-30-2010: Check Cashed by USCIS.

08-02-2010: Received NOA1 hard copy.

08-02,04,05: Touched.

09-28-2010: Received text & email - petition approved.

10-04-2010: Received NOA2 hard copy.

10-13-2010: NVC Case# Received (after calling).

10-15-2010: Emailed DS-3032 to NVC.

10-16-2020: Received the DS-3032 package, IIN number & AOS bill via email.

yeah I am aware of that. So it is absolutely wrong that NVC schedules interview only in the second week of each month. Proved !
