My AOS Checklist!

Hey Everyone!

I am due to send off our AOS this week, i am going to list my checklist for anyones convenience, and also if i am missing something, please let me know, if your able to anyway!!Here goes...

-Envelope addressed to (for express/ courier)

USCIS

Attn: FBAS

131 South Dearborn - 3rd Floor

Chicago, IL 60603-5517

*AOS*

-Check for $1070 made out to the U.S Department of Homeland Security.

-2 U.S passport photos, name and numbered

-Form I-693 in sealed envelope

-Form G-1145 Form of acceptance

-Form I-485 signed and dated

-Copy of Police Certificate

-Copy of Birth Certificate(front and back)

-Copy of UK passport page and stamps

-Copy of I-797 Notice of approval for I-129F(front and back)

-Certified copy of marriage certificate

-Copy of K1 visa in passport

-Copy of I-94 front and back

-Form G-325A

-Form I-864 with the following evidence (Copy of wife's birth certificate, copy of wife's passport, proof that my wife and my mother in law(household member) live together, as she is providing I-864A to assist income... My wife does not have anymore evidence to provide, and she is a student therefore never had any tax documents etc).

-Form I-864A with the following evidence (Copy of my mother in laws birth certificate and passport, Letter of employment, pay slips from last 6 months, proof of land ownership, copy of current bank account and savings, last 3 years W2s, 1090s and 1099s.

*Advance Parole*

-2 U.S passport photos name and numbered

-Form G-1145 form of acceptance

-Form I-131 signed and dated

-Copy of UK passport page

-Copy of I-94 (front and back)

-Copy of K1 visa in passport

*Employment Authorization*

-2 U.S passport photos name and numbered

-Form G-1145 form of acceptance

-Form I-765 signed and dated

-Copy of 1-94(front and back)

-Copy of UK passport page.

Note-- As I have changed address in the last couple of months, I have included my confirmation of when I changed address in each single form. 1 for the I-485, 1 for I-864 and so on! Not sure if it is needed, but just so they do not get confused!

So this is everything that is in the application, feel free to use it if you find it useful, and like I said, if anyone knows of anything that I am missing out, I am hoping you will be able to tell me! Good luck to everyone!

Olly this AOS is for your wife yes? The I-864 affadavit of support is only about you and your co-sponsor financial situation not her. Not sure why you have a police report in there as we all fill in the same AOS forms but everything else is spot on, we did get an RFE as they wanted my husbands 1040 for 2009. We sent 1099 and w2 but were not enough.

Good luck Could you do a time line too so we can see where you're at and came from lol

I'm actually missing a 1099 for 2007, but have everything else. I'm hoping this won't cause too much trouble!!

Cool Olly but you really only need last years 2009 tax returns it is optional to add 3 years. Your wife and sponsor can just add these as we did only last year 1099 1040 as we got an rfe and w2 for 2009. You have done brilliantly you will be fine.

Thankyou very much guys! It actualy makes it easier for me, asy wife will never have had any tax documents, as she has never worked as she is still a student!! Got all those forms for my mother in law though!! Thanks so much guys, will get the timeline up soon!
