Hi guys, we had an RFE on our AOS and I’m pretty sure I should receive the RFE today. My question is should I send the RFE back today and have the NVC receive it Saturday or should I send the RFE Saturday and have them receive it Monday. The reason I’m asking this is that I’m afraid if they get it tomorrow and since they are closed, it might just sit there in a big pile and may not even be opened on Monday but if they get it on Monday they might take action on it right away. Let me know your opinion. Thanks.

I am sorry to hear about the REF of AOS. If you receive it today, then take your time, take a look why they issued RFE, and take the appropriate actions, and mail it out tomorrow. Do you know what is the RFE about? If you space is leaft blank, then they send the application back to have the blank filled.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
