Thank you very much Darnell. This entire process from I-130 submission back in May/June 2011 till now has been pretty straightforward and simple. Other than having to find and use supporting birth documents vice an actual birth certificate it's been pretty simple. I'd say we probably could have knocked 5-6 months off the process if we had all the right documents when the I-130 was originally submitted. But ... no stress at all when not trying to hurry along the process.

Interview is scheduled at the Embassy in Tokyo for March 19, 2012 and we have a couple of concerns:

1) The Thai police certificate will be a year old after the interview. Are we good to go with any expiration date still ?

2) Is the Thai police certificate supposed to be in a sealed envelope ?

Any feedback would be appreciated.
