My I-130 petition was approved by TSC on 23 Nov, and according to the hard copy I received, my original petition was forwarded to NVC in Portsmouth, New Hampshire for processing. I have called NVC numerous times in an effort to obtain my Case # to no avail. First I was told I had to wait 10-15 business days for the petition to be entered into the system. Then on the 13th I was told that it would take at least another 90 days. When I called yesterday (14th), another operator told me to call back after the 1st of the year, and that it would be 6-8 weeks before a case # would be assigned. Today is the 15th business day since my petition was approved by TSC, and I am going to send an e-mail to nvcresearch@state.gov, along with an attachment of my approved I-797C (approval notice). I really don't expect much to happen between now and the 1st, but I have to keep trying. According to the NCSC my petition WAS APPROVED on 23 Nov, and that it had been forwarded to NVC. I have seen numerous posts on VJ from people who had their cases adjudicated at CSC, who were approved AFTER me, that have already received their NVC case #. My petition was approved in 119 days at TSC with no RFE's. Now the hold-up is at NVC. If you don't get hosed at USCIS; they get you at NVC. BOHICA!!
