Pay stubs and employment letters for marriage based interview, how recent do they need to be?

Hi,

Our AOS interview will be Jan, 13, 2011. Our interview notice is dated Dec,15, 2010.

On the notice it says we need to bring an employment verification letter and 2 months of pay stubs from me and the joint sponsor which is my uncle.

Is it OK if the joint sponsor supplies an employment letter to me right now ( which will be dated Dec, 16th) and his two last pay stubs ( Oct, Nov) even though the interview is in January?

Or is it best to ask him for an employment letter dated in January and pay stubs for November and December?

I am the US citizen, my wife is the applicant.

Adjusting from J1 Trainee visa:

August 25th, 2010: Filed AOS package to USCIS

August 27th, 2010: Package received by USCIS

September 2nd, 2010: Received I797 for I-130, I-485, I-765

October 14th, 2010: Received biometrics appointment letter (will be on Nov 5th)

AOS interview will be on January 13th, 2011!

January 13th, 2011: Approved at the day of the interview

Next step, removal of conditions

YAH!! that's the recent paystubs....same with my case!! i passed 3 paystub recent nov en dec first week and i included employment letter...but i think for you co'z u have co-sponsor his employment certificate...

did u recieved also the letter from embassy that it says EVIDENCE SUSTAINED CURRENT INCOME?

i was thinking 6 months but i didnt follow through with it. The employment letter was enough to verify current employment/income.

Current cut off date F2A - Current

May 12 2011 - Notice of Action 2 (NOA2)
May 23 2011 - NVC case # Assigned
Nov 17 2011 - COA / I-864 received
Nov 18 2011 - Sent COA
Apr 30 2012 - Pay AOS fee
Oct 15 2012 - Pay IV fee
Oct 25 2012 - Sent AOS/IV Package
Oct 29 2012 - Pkg Delivered
Dec 24 2012 - Case Complete
May 17 2013 - Interview-Approved

July 19 2013 - Enter the USA
