Hi All,

I am going to submit my package to USCIS and I need your help. I am filing this petition for my wife and our child. Besides our documents, we need:

1. Two I-130 forms. One for my wife & one for my son. Is that correct?

2. Two G325A forms. One for myself and one for my wife. Do I have to fill out one for my son?

3. Two passport type photos. One for myself and one for my wife. Does my child need one?

I have some questions on the I-130 form:

On part C, question 17, "List husband/wife and all children of your relative." Here I list our child's name, is that correct?

On part D, question 1, "If separate petitions are also being submitted for other relatives, give names of each and relationship." Here I list our child's name when I fill out my wife as my relative and the same thing I list my wife's name when I fill out my son as my relative. Is that correct?

On part D, question 2, "Have you ever before filed a petition for this or any other alien? If "Yes," give name, place and date of filing and result." Yes, I had filed a fiancee petition for my ex-wife 8 years ago. My answer: "I-129F" for the name, "New Mexico city" for the place, "01/01/2002" for the date, and "It was approved" for the result. Is this the answer that they want to know? or something else?

I also have a question on the G325A form:

At the bottom of the form, it says, "This form is submitted in connection with an application for:..."

I select "Other (Specify):" But what do I need to fill in here? I-130 or CR1/IR1 or K-3.

I'm not sure what visa type I am applying for :bonk: . But I do know I want to go with CR1/IR1. I only know that I need to use I-130 and G325A forms for petitioning my relative. Is there any requirements to be eligible to apply for CR1/IR1? Or when I submit I-130 and G325A forms along with other documents in the checklist, it's automatically known as CR1/IR1?

Thanks so much for your help. It is much appreciated.

All of your questions pertaining to the forms can be answered with the 2 links I posted above. the first is the guides for the I-130 indicating a checklist of what needs to be sent and the 2nd is an example form for the I-130 and G-325A so you know how to fill out the forms

You aren't applying for anything right now, you are petitioning for your wife and son. THEY will apply for the visa at the consulate during the interview. Submitting the I-130 puts you on the Cr-1 track.

Good luck
