Hi everyone,

I had my interview in October 28th, and it is been almost 3 months that I am waiting for the ceremony letter. I am getting anxious since I will be away for 2 weeks and back in January. I don't want to leave if the ceremony is in this month. I hope someone can help me in answering my questions.

For those who had their interview in Jacksonville, Fl, how long did you guys waited for the oath letter, and how many weeks notice did you guys have before the ceremony?

I checked on the website uscis.gov but it says that my application has been transferred so I am guessing that it did not update.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

I'm a citizen for 3 weeks already and the USCIS website still is saying that my application has been transferred. You can't rely on that. I would try to call your local office and try to speak to the IO that did your interview. You also can schedule an infopass appointment here. Good luck.

2/3 mths or wks? cas that don't sound correct to me as Jax office does oaths once every month...and you passed your interveiw 2 mths ago already..

I think the i.o is talking out his backside just to give you any answer to get you out the way..

Don't be surprised to be in next month..and if not get in touch with them again as this will pass the 120 day mark from your interveiw..

Didn't realize I put a typo when I replied earlier.. The reply should have been My wife got the Oath ceremony letter which is scheduled for March 17th at 9am.

To your question from what I heard from some other people locally the GNV federal court house was giving out the Oath certificate once the ceremony was done, and most people here since the post office is located in the federal court house would just mail everything out the same day for the US passport. Hopefully when my wife goes the Federal court house will still be doing this!
