Hello again, are there any recent (September/October/November) N400 applicants from the Tampa district office? I completed my biometrics last September (almost 3 months ago) and I still haven't heard back from USCIS. Are there any recent Tampa filers who received interview letters or yellow letters? Please let me know. Thanks.

Timeline

I am from Tampa. I got my citizenship back in April 2009. At the time, I did my biometrics just one month after I filed my N-400. I was so happy for he speedy process. However, I still got my interview 5 months later. So don't worry.

Sometimes, the delay is for so many reasons. Either your name was a hit, and it needs more time for a background check. May be there is too many applications ahead of you. But anyways, there is one more thing that I don't really know if it is affecting N-400 filers. That is the USCIS is currently putting most of their workforce towards TPS visa applications (forms I-785,and I-821). I know for sure it is putting family based petitions on hold, so may be it is the same thing for naturalization applications.

So just chill out and relax. Don't worry, it is coming.
