I was speaking with a friend who said she was unable to order pizza delivery because the nearest pizza place was over 30 miles away! Unimaginable to me.

So how far out in the boonies are you?

The only two restaurants open after dark are the pizza joint, and the Chinese place. During the day, the burger joint is open. Other restaurants come and go, but if you sneeze, they are gone. There are bigger towns 10 miles away, so it depends how far you want to drive, but for delivery, I have to order local.

closet pizza place is about 6 miles. We generally don't order in - I start with a frozen base and then just add all sorts of extras, or else we go out and eat there. (Although the one we go to eat at is 10 miles away B-) ) I like everything except sausage on my pizza - the more of everything, the better

nearest is 12 miles driving. pizza hut is about 15. there is no food delivery out here, unless you count roadkill.

I grew up in Central NY where there were awesome pizza places everywhere you looked.

Now I live in Texas where the only choices are chains and compared to what I'm used to they pretty much all suck. I live within a mile of several but I'd be happy to drive further for something decent.

We have lots of pizza places here. I think there are 2(maybe more)within a mile of here. Yummy, local owned, NY style pizza!

Wow.... Sad.

I 'm 2 minutes drive from dominos, papa johns, pizza hut.... 10 gas stations , 5 major supermarkets, 15+ other fast food Restaurants or chinese/american full serv. Restaurants.... I'm ten minutes from nashville's city center.... convienience and civilization is a must...
