If you really think about it, all we need to read is the King James Bible. It's truly the one book that gives us all the answers in life and kids should start early one studying it. It contains passages about slavery as well as homosexuality and morals, thus it is omniscient in its wisdom. Don't you agree?

Or what about the part where the Texas school board asked the publishers to amend their textbooks to play up the contributions of americans while diminishing that of anyone else. Sorry, teaching kids that america is the be all, end all greatest thing ever is just blowing smoke up their #### and ill preparing them for the real world.

I don't know about you, but I have had city and county public library cards since I was a kid. It's not like public school is the only place to get reading materials. Stupid and lazy people allow themselves to be ignorant.

That said...public school is no place to be shoving narrow social agendas down the throats of impressionable kids.

The so called "Holocaust" was a part of WW2 and a part of history. How is it related to gay history or black history? It is not even "Jewish history" unless one wants to ignore the far higher numbers of people killed for reasons such as being Slavanic. 1 million in the city of St Petersburg, Russia alone.

I do not think anyone has suggested not teaching HISTORY, in fact I know I didn't. But there is no such thing a __________ history. It is history or it is not history. But, as I said, I think it matters not if the students in California are educated or not. The politicians are flushing the state down the toilet anyway. What difference does it make?

ElectionsThe Communist Party of Ukraine (Ukrainian: Комуністична партія України, Komunistychna Partiya Ukrayiny) is a political party in Ukraine, currently led by Petro Symonenko. At the parliamentary elections on 29 March 1998, the party gained 25% of the vote and 123 seats, becoming the largest party in Parliament. At the parliamentary elections on 30 March 2002, the party won 19.98% of the popular vote and 66 out of 450 seats in the Verkhovna Rada.
