Hi peeps, I just called NVC, and they told me that the Jamaica Embassy is not scheduling interviews for the month of December because of the overwhelming amount of interviews that are in process, they are in the process of scheduling for January and should be contacted the second week of January for interview. They also say that NVC does not schedule interview for that consulate. The Jamaican Embassy schedules the interviews.I am a F2A and my case was completed on the 10th of November 2010. My PD is June 2009. They also has no idea about the retrogression.

The embassy doesn't schedule the interview sure jamaica. Matter of fact the jamaican embassy doesn't know the case even exists until it is received.

That's what they told me anyhow. Once they receive the packages they schedule the interviews, that's what they told me. Are you saying that they lied to me....:idea:

The packets/cases are not sent to the embassy UNTIL after packet 4 is issued. When the cases are completed the Nvc/Dos request an interview and for the number of visas for cases that are comoleted and ready.

I am 100% agree with Ricardo for F2A category, except IR1/CR1 cases send to the consulate if expedited the case request by the applicant without interview
