For all people that had the interview.

I know that u bring the originals such as marriage licence, birth cert of child, and etc.

Did they also want to get hard certified copies of these evidences at the the interview? or they just want to see the originals?

I am asking so I can request in advance prior to the interview.

Take the originals and copies. If they ask to keep them, then make sure they keep the copies and not the originals. Once they take them you will never see them again.

We use to have certified copies in this country, at least we did in our state, is suppose to be just as good as the original, as the original may be lost due to thief, fire, or flood damage. Does your state offer certified copies? Wisconsin sure doesn't.

I can get duplicates for me whatever what was done here, like my home deed, car titles, our marriage certificate, we elected for that exact reason to get married here, birth certificate, my military records, cannot, they had a fire in St; Louis where they were kept, good thing kept the originals, But took my wifes' and stepdaughters' key documents to our register of deeds to have them recorded. To my shock, they don't do that anymore, too busy laying around that office doing nothing. So those documents are key to us and have to be well protected. Can get duplicates from their home country, but get robbed in the process.

I checked everywhere to learn if we can get certified copies of these documents, haven't found any source. If you have, please share it.

Can always get a new naturalization certificate or a green card, but like my wifes' former country, the USCIS will rob you blind and make you wait a year. My stepdaughter just had her purse robbed, they only got a copy of her green card, thank God or me for having it locked up. Just cost us 14 bucks for a drivers' license yesterday, that wasn't too bad. With our poor economy, robbery and similar crimes are drastically increasing, watch yourself.

Oh those thousands of new cops Homeland Security has given us, are positively absolutely worthless. But do watch your speed.
