Hi, I just recently adjusted my status from a F1 to a lawful permanent resident and got approved (in August) which means that I'm a 2 year GC holder. That's a lit bit of my background just in case you know. So here is the question, my friend, a US citizen, was my sponsor and filed for my I-864 is going to move (I'm not moving with him), and I don't know if he must notify USCIS about his change of address or not and if yes, which form that he needs, is it AR11 ?

Yes, your friend needs to file a change of address form every time he moves...until you become a US citizen or until you have worked for 10 years as an LPR.

anyone ? Does anyone know how to answer this ?

The answer is "Yes", your sponsor/USC needs to change the address as well by filling out form I-865 available on USCIS website.

Once you do that, USCIS will mail you a notice confirming the USC change of address, it looks like a NOA.

Don't forget to change yours as well. Check the uscis website, you have everything you need for the address change.

ok, so am a bit confused, according to juliava that I have to change as well, but am not moving, am still staying at the same address when I adjusted my status, does it mean that I don't need to change mine but my sponsor ? and isnt the form called AR 11 or I 865 ? what is form AR 11 anyway ?

AR-11 and I-865 are both change of address forms, with different functions.

Every time your sponsor moves, he fills up an I-865 Change of Address form (since he filled up an I-864 affidavit of support for you). He must do this within 30 days of moving to his new address, up to the time you become a US citizen or have worked for 10 years as an LPR.

Every time you move, you download, fill up and mail an AR-11 Change of Address form. You must do this within 10 days of moving to your new address, up to the time you become a US citizen or have worked for 10 years as an LPR.
