Hi guys,

I wanna get your take on this one. My parents case got completed Nov. 30,2010, according to AVR wait for 8 weeks from this date for further instructions from them. I am my mom's agent so I get all the correspondents from NVC and so far I have not received any e-mail confirmation from them. I have been thinking of sending my parents to do the medical already so as not to delay it further if ever they have a problem, but my concern at this time is with the visa retrogression the medical "might expire" if they get called for interview. Their PD is April 1,1988, from the NVC Visa bulletin for Dec. 2010 and Jan. 2011 they are processing F4 from the PH Jan. 1988. So, what do you think, do I go ahead and proceed with the medical now or wait for the visa bulletin for Feb. 2011 so I can kinda gauge how much more delay we are expecting. Thanks for reading, have a great day to everyone.

If I were you, I would wait until NVC gives you an interview date. The medical is good for 6 months, no telling if the retrogression issue will be addressed by then.

Hi marriedtomrg,

Thanks for the input, I am actually leaning towards waiting for the interview date, I guess the anxiety of waiting is just not the most pleasant feeling at this time, plus the worry for my baby bro regarding his CSPA is also not helping. Well, hopefully things work out smoothly sooner.
