One thing to keep in mind is to make sure to use a reliable travel agent and also confirm your ticket with the airline. Some agents will take your money, but not actually buy the ticket. I've had airline carriers change flight times on me before , so if you have connections on different carriers, make sure to double check the flight times a few days before travel. I used EVA and it was $35 more for a weekend departure each way. On EVA, travel time was about 14 hours LAX to TPE, 1 hr layover, 3 hours TPE to SGN, though it may vary depending on flight chosen, winds, etc. Cost was $860 late last year, $900 earlier this year, $1080 few months ago incl visa, but excl weekend departure fee. From what i've noticed from the travel agency, the later you buy, the higher it goes up. But this also depends on the pricing trend.

I used AV Travel in Westminster, the only issue i had is that they didn't notify me of flight change.

if you buy online and use a CC, then the airline may require you to show the CC at the airport during checkin.
