DECEMBER 2010 AOS Filers

Hi all,

We submitted our AOS packet on Dec. 18 via FedEx and it was received on Dec. 20. We received 2 text messages and 2 emails on Dec. 23rd and now waiting for the NOA to come in the mail (our check was also cashed on Dec. 23).

Through a different topic discussion, it looks like another Dec AOS filer submitted her paperwork before Dec. 15 and already has a biometric appt. scheduled for the second week in Jan - hope we all have the same luck:)

The only snafo we had was a rejection notice for our I-131. We selected the wrong option under section 2 and now have to refile the 1-131 once we get our 485 NOA. Other than that, we're praying that everything gets quickly approved!!! Fingers and toes crossed!!

Looks like I belong to this group. Filed aos in December. They received it Dec 16th. Accepted Dec 21st and received i-797C for i-485 and i-765 shortly after. Last touched Dec 23. Received biometrics yesterday for Jan 20 in Indianapolis.

Just got 3 emails with three receipt numbers. So looks like my Applications have been accepted,

Its just got very scary.

Ok got emails with receipt numbers on the 22nd Dec, check was cashed the next day. They dont seem to be recognised on the USCIS system yet. Havent recieved the NOA's in the mail yet.

Any idea when the receipt numbers will appear on thei system?

Mine didn't show up until a day or so after I had the hard copy receipts in hand.

Give it a day or two after you get your NOA hard copies. I called when they weren't in the system the day I received my hard copies and the advisor couldn't see it either, had to be transferred higher up. They showed up in the system later that day.

If they're not in there a couple of days after you receive your hard copies, give them a call. The automated option system is a nightmare, but the lady I talked to was lovely

Received NOAs for the EAD and 485 (yay!). Now all we need to do is to re-file the I-131 along with a copy of the NOA and we should be set! Hopefully no RFEs to come in the mail (aaacckkkkk)

I am so happy it is all moving along for everyone.

So I am just curious, I plan on doing some schooling once I get my greencard. I am goin to a local animal grooming school. When I get my EAD I am going to work at Verizon with my husband.

What does everyone else have planned for when we get the freedom to work back again!?

got my AP/EAD/AOS noa's hard copies yesterday but i notice tht my I-485 my A# is different on AP and EAD the AP and EAD have the correct A# then my I-485 have wrong A# is this really big deal?do i need to call them to correct it im about to call them but i want to share it here first and if theres somebody here same situation

We re-submitted Dec 21, received Dec 22 because we had an RFE for incorrect filing. Not heard anything as of today, can anyone tell me if we are moving backwards?

What does the email notification look like & does it turn up in your junk email?

Just received the email confirmations for AOS/AP/EAD right now. Eager me had to check with USCIS case status & even tho I know from everyone else doing it, not showing up on their system yet.

Still, glad they have it as the last time we sent the wrong fee.

Yes, call them, as soon as possible. If the A# is wrong on your AOS application it will not match your records for your K1 and may lead to problems down the road with removal of conditions, etc.

It may be nothing, but to me that's an important error, and anyway better safe than sorry. And the NOA1 does say to call immediately if any details are incorrect. Better to check it out than suffer a delay later!
