Remember my waters have a good feeling about you this week.

Im sure by the end of this month there will be a flood of approvals.

As long as you don't run out of depends, then I'll gladly accept your waters as a sign of things to happen.

& your waters are right, guess who just texted?

The mailman has just handed me two envelopes. One is "Welcome to the United States"

The other is a priority mail envelope with my Permanent Resident card.

I feel elated and deflate at the same time. Shakey and silly grin on my face.

All these emotions at the same time on top of a bad cold. A wonderful mixture I can tell you.

You also get a little metalised envelope to keep your card in to prevent wireless communication. (so it say on it anyway)

Oh and the picture is horrendous. :D

Hooray! I am hoping I get mine today as well! It would be a nice birthday present

My wife finally received her AP approval in the mail, 2.5 months after sending our application. It's a relief to see something happen, still haven't gotten a biometrics letter, hopefully it's in the mail too. We will be making a trip to Canada over the weekend to visit family, it'd only a 45 minute drive to the border. We are going to have to read about what to expect using the AP.

My AP went into POST DECISION ACTIVITY about an hour after my EAD was approved.

Plus I have a company pushing to get me hired soon as I can work, today is a good day

So apparently our local office (Portland, OR) is only processing apps submitted from August 2010 at the moment, which means they are six months behind. So frustrating! We had a friend go through the same office recently for AOS from a K1 and he was done in 2 months from start to finish :(

I am truely special...................errrrrrr ok my mom always said I was special.......... or maybe it was that nice teacher who said I had special needs... anyway not sure... but special was mentioned somewhere..

Congrats to all those who have had approvals today. Tomorrow will be better.

Now all I got to do is get a job. get a driving licence, get my SSN card changed to remove work with DHS approval.

Its all good!

waiting for it to drop in the mail is nearly worse than waiting for approval. Good thing they seem to be able to manufacture and mail them out in a week

The waiting is painful, whether its for an update, the next step or the piece of paper to fall through the mail box door its a matter of patience.

Sometimes that is very hard to find when your days are made up of waiting.

I feel your pain. I received my biometrics appointment after waiting for 2,5 months!!!!! There is no interview notice in sight. I know that many applicants in OR who were done with the whole ordeal in the matter of 3 months, from sending their app to receiving gc in the mail. What suddenly happened?

How do you know that they are 6 months behind? Does that mean that we will have a chance in an interview only by May or June?

Thanks!
