Ya we got ours in the same kind of time frame. I know it is hard but we are all still waiting too even after the bio. Who knows when we will get our stuff lol.

You can make an inquiry about with the USCIS but that usually doesn't make things happen any faster.

I hope you get it soon!

Did you receive any text or email notifications before your bio appointment came through or was it just a random turn up in the post kind of thing?

Also, with walk ins, how can you find out if your local will accept or not, turn up & pray or try to contact them first? From USCIS, Tampa shows you can only get access with an appointment but you can make one online.

I-751 Application - Nov 26, 2012.
NOA - Nov 27, 2012.
Bio Appointment Dec 31, 2012.
New Appointment Jan 8, 2013.

I-751 Removal of Conditions - Approved May 28 2013

Green Card Production notice - June 13 2013

Green Card Received - June 20, 2013

Citizenship Application - January 17, 2023

my biometrics appt just showed up in the mail (no notifications prior). received it almost 3 weeks after the print date of the NOA1.

i just drove to the office and took my chances...they let me do walk in. if it's not too far for you, maybe you should just go in with all your stuff once you receive the letter and see what happens! it's harder to say no in person than over the phone :)

Its what I'll be doing, thankfully its only 5-10 min drive away. Fingers crossed it comes in the next day or so, need to get an extension of my drivers licence as well (even though they still haven't posted the actual photo licence yet).

Here's to getting the next step done!

Filed for AOS on December 31, 2010. Biometrics appointment is January 28, 2011. Yippee! Does anyone know how long we will have to wait after the biometrics appointment? Also, is it true that some people do not have to go through an interview, and that they just receive their green card in the mail.

Wow, congrats on the bio appointment. I have my RFE date 2 days before you & still no letter. Things must be working well at the office you are using.

& yes, your case can skip the interview & get transferred to CSC & be approved without interviews being needed.

Yeah, both of those. Would have had an earlier NOA if we hadn't sent the wrong check fee, so its a mixture but more NOA.

Hey congrats J&J! That's great news. Did you have a touch anytime in before you received the notification of transfer to CSC and your last touch (I think you said Dec 18th?)?

I would hope to think so...but I have seen some who got a RFE even when sent to CSC. I even seen people get transferred to CSC and then back again to there own service center for a interview. So I guess patients is the key..hehe..I'm not getting over excited yet. Plus, those who get a interview tend to get there green card faster, but we shall see..

My hubby loves timmies too, I get my mom to send us some coffee when we are running out..hehe Now we got half of Texas addicted..:P

Just discovered on the USCIS website that my I485 was transfered to CSC on the 18th of Jan (The first time any of my receipt numbers have appeared on their site). Im not sure if this is good as it might mean mo interview or a bad thing that it will take longer to get.

Its activity tho. so WOOOHOOO!

Thank you, goodnight and may your gods go with you",

Dave Allen.

Happy things are moving quick for everyone here!! Just got my Biometrics letter last night in the mail. Thankfully their office is on my way to work :) so I will try to walk in on Monday.

Does anyone know if in case someone does not need to Trip Parole(I131) or Work Permit(I765) if the green-card process is a bit quicker??? I have an H1B visa now. Happy that so far all paperwork and fees were filed correctly -> saved 2K in lawyer fees.
