I-864, interview?

Hello. I'm in Florida, my longtime husband is in Moscow, and I initiated the application in June.

(We lived together in London for six years before I applied for his green card). At this point in

my application I've paid the $88 affidavit of support fee, was emailed the confirmation receipt,

and then found the page with the link to the I-864. My father is going to co-sponsor my husband's

application, so it should be pretty straightforward, but my question is about the rest of the process.

I don't understand what is going on, though I've tried to call and email: when will my husband be

contacted about scheduling an interview in Moscow? I feel like my application has disappeared- I

haven't received any physical correspondence since the I-130 was finally approved, and my husband

has heard nothing. He's applied for his background check but not his medicals and as I said he has

heard nothing at his address in Russia, and I think my application must be at the visa center but I

don't even know! Sorry if questions are really basic, we're both working in our own countries

and have already accepted and assumed that this will take a long time, but I'd like to know what is

going on, thanks.
