I have a question people please help.

I got a RFE for my AOS form for not filling out line 18 section 5 ( I still don't believe it). Any how I filled out a new form, and I printed the cover sheet, changed CMR to DR, and sent it last week. Well today finally I got the official email for RFE, in this email the cover sheet says to send it to ATTN CMR, (instead of DR as suggested by visa journey).

What should I do, should I send it in again with ATTN CMR ? or you think it will make it to the right department eventually.

If they give you clear, unambiguous instructions, follow them. Their instructions will always trump ours [at least when their's are comprehensible].

As for resending something, in your shoes I probably would. If the contents are the same, multiple copies won't hurt, and the process is already so expensive a couple buck more for postage and photocopying is a small price to pay so you can sleep at night knowing you followed their instructions to the letter.

To be completey safe you can resend it but I suspect it will make it to the correct department. Have you tried calling NVC to see if they received it yet? Let us know how things work out. Good luck!

Thanks OBX, The RFE package that I send back was received Monday 12/6. It has not yet been scanned according to NVC lady that I spoke to on Friday. I am estimating by Tuesday it should be scanned. I will call in Monday morning and ask if I should resend it, or may be I will send it anyways.

What I think may have happened is that my AOS god processed prior to me sending the DS 230 (IV). So the check list they sent me is asking for both the RFE for AOS AND the IV package. Which is why the cover sheet states ATTN CMR, because that is where the IV initial package would go. Had it been just the AOS RFE then the cover sheet may have stated ATTN DR. I checked and both addresses listed are the same. I do believe they go to same place except different desks may be.

Wish me luck. I will update you all.
