hi, me and my wife just did a dcf last Thursday. it went pretty smooth for the most part... I paid for it, i got my receipt, but we have to mail in 2 pieces of additional evidence (rental contract, employment of certificate). so when we got home, we were just looking through our copies of the evidence that we gave them and i noticed something..... one of my pieces of evidence i gave them, my application of registration for my TIN# (BIR) that I've had since August, has the wrong year for my birthday, my bday year is 1986, but it says 1984... the year of my wife's bday.

Anyways, i was wondering if when i send the additional information on Monday, should i send a letter explaining the situation what happened with that piece of evidence? I'm very worried and i don't want any delays or to be rejected. please please, what should i do?????? :help:

I wouldn't worry about it until they send you an RFE. In the meantime, prepare a letter of explanation...and perhaps look into how you can get your birth year corrected for the TIN.

They might...

You can go back to the Mandaluyong TIN office and get it corrected asap. The earlier the better. Its easy and fast.

Good luck!

If you do that, make sure you properly mark your cover letter and evidence with your case number so they have a reference. :)
