Hi Every One

MY case is at NVC and IV feee bill for me, daughter and husband has been generated. NOw the problem is my husband due to some problems may not accompany me and wants to join later may be more than six months.Someoneone please advice us should we deposit fee for him now or what are the other possibilities, we deposit fee now and we inform that he will join later or what are the options.For proper advice I should mention that my US citizen sibling filed petition.

experts may please advise and describe me that options available that the spouse may join us without waiting for the visa availability.

Remember that the visa expires after 6 months from the day being issued. If he may join you less than that period, it's still OK. If not, he may contact them and explain his necessary delay of entering the States.

If they issue the visa and he does not use it before the 6 months pass then the visa will expire and you have to start over again. The best bet is to delay paying the bill until you know when he can travel and plan accordingly. There may be some waivers on medical grounds, but usually that is to speed the process up, not slow it down. My wife and I are in a similar situation so we are waiting to pay the IV bill until April.
