It wasn't our war and we pushed for an excuse to enter it. Just as we did for WWI as well.

So we let Pearl Harbor happen as an excuse to enter ww2?

Seems we coulda entered the war without losing all the assets in Hawaii...

Not really. It was an unpopular idea in the country (just as WWI was) and there needed to be something to get the American people behind the war.

OK, so an alert is needed based on what you are implying: Pearl Harbor was planned by the US Gummint.

Are you sure you want to take it there? Really?

your poor little liberal mind cannot wrap your head around human nature. I get it. Believe me, I do get it. It is amusing though.

We haven't fought a real war in this country to be honest since the civil war anyway..... Everything else as far as America goes has been manufactured for the most part.

You're delusional as hell if you expected anything less than innocent people to be killed without merit during the course of things.

That's irrelevant to what you said. You're demanding more civilian deaths

There is a distinction between civilian casualties in the midst of combat, say caught in a cross fire between combatants or killed by bombs aimed at what appeared to be legit enemy targets, and per the OP luring civilians and gunning them down knowing they are just civilians. Doing so for demented fun. That would indeed be murder even in a combat zone. Of course some soldiers snap and while they would not previous to being put in combat do such things, they do get broken and warped and incidents such as the accusations in the OP occur. Any way you slice it, the OP is a sad story for all concerned.

Well said as it distinguishes between collateral damage and sickos killing unarmed civilians for fun. The idea about throwing candy to kids and running them over is just unbelievable.

You call them civilians, I call them future enemy recruits.

You cannot win a war fighting soldiers alone.

Yeah.....

Why bother with war at all, so inefficient. We should just nuke all these places. Naturally you'd be all for it.

The environmental effects of a nuclear weapon while effective in their purpose, destroy any chance of a better near-future generation, so that's not the likely measure.

I simply want more people to die. Be it our soldiers/civilians or theirs. This "war" isn't a damn war, it's a game of chees being used to further special interests in the middle east. If they want to call it war, I want to see a damn war.
