Filing Fees for AOS (from K1)...wanted to clarify.

I'm finding these instructions pretty confusing, despite trying to read them a couple times each!

The I-131 is probably the most confusing of the forms, because it's used for 3-4 different kinds of applications, depending on how you fill it out.

Just follow the example form here (with or without the attachment) and it'll be just fine.

We just sent my AOS off with a check for $1010 as the form instructions had the fee at $930 plus $80 for the biometrics.

I'm guessing RFE right or will they just request a new check?

They will reject the application and send it all back to you with a request for the correct fee.

My AOS package bounced back requesting me to resubmit it with the correct fee.

Actually the fees went into effect last year, specifically November 23, 2010. It also says it on the forms.
