Hi members, im just wondering how long it takes for the USCIS to confirm receipt of RFE documents. Any ideas? Coz i sent my package on Thursday and the same was delivered on Monday according to USPS tracking. Up to now i havent gotten any email from USCIS and my cases are still the same, no updates. Should i call them to confirm or just wait coz this is driving me insane. I used certified mail to send my package. When i tracked it i got this message:-

"Your item was delivered at 4:22 pm on December 06, 2010 in LEES SUMMIT, MO 64081." Why a different zipcode, i dont know. Im just wondering if the package was delivered in the right office. Thanks.

It can take around 10 days or so for a confirmation of an RFE.. If you send it overnight mail it usually gets confirmed quicker. Good luck!

I've read other posts wondering about the zipcode changes. Don't worry about it. The envelope for my AOS application NOA1 said 64002 and the franked postage said mailed from 60603...

We actually NEVER got a confirmation that they received our documents. I even called USCIS because I was worried, and they said that the office that receives them has up to 30 days to let you know whether or not they got it (which of course is ridiculous, because if they didn't get them of course your time to turn them in would be up! But I digress.) We were approved the day that the RFE was due, which is the only way we ever found out that they received the RFE response at all! I wouldn't worry about it too much if USPS says that it was delivered (easier said than done, I know.)
