I hope somebody will help me...

My fiance sent I-129F around 10th, September and we are not getting anything yet....He called USCIS a few times. First time the lady said she can't tell him about what is going on. Second time the guy said that they sent our NOA1 end of September so our paperworks is in work now. and he said he will send my fiance NOA1 again. we waited for 1 month and never reached. Third times, another lady said that our paperworks is going all right she thinks. And she thinks nothing wrong with our paperworks. But will send my fiance NOA1 again. And she made sure his address and she told him if something bad happen ,she will call him. ( I don't think so though...)

and now we already waited for almost 3weeks since he called last time. Why our NOA1 never come yet?? And we cant touch on website without our case number. And they are just telling him our paperwork is allright. How can we get our NOA1 and know our case number?? We just have to wait and wait and wait like a forever???

I hope somebody help me....

i sent my packege on June 25 and I just finished my case Process with visa approved just yesterday by embassy, I never received my NOA1 in the mail, my fiance call uscis and asked then for the case Number , they gave him the case number, that how I register at the USCIS website to see the progress of my case daily...

My case was approved by uscis, I received a message by email, but they never sent me the original copy of the NOA 2 by mail, all I received was a letter from NVC telling me that my case was approved and sent to the embassy of my country to be processed .. . so just call uscis and request for you case number they will give to you.

Did you pay by cheque? Has the check cleared your account?

If you did pay by cheque the case number should be on the back of the cheque

Also, have the USC call the post office to inquire about delivery to his address

Good luck

Actually he told them that he wanna know our case number when he called. But they just said they will send a letter...I guess I need to ask my fiance to call again. and let them tell him about our case number THIS TIME.

So you took 6months to get through all paperworks! I hope we will pass as soon as possible...

Everybody will answer his call on USCIS can tell my fiance our case number ,right? Because the lady said she can't and she has to ask somebody.....It makes me confused...hmmm I wish I could call them instead of him....

The same thing happened to us. We finally received the NOA1 2 1/2 months later on the third attempt. I did, however, receive our case number by insisting that my call be escalated to someone who could better answer my questions. The second tier representatives at USCIS are far more helpful and have more access to resources than those goons who answer the phones.

Thank you :)

To answer your question, it seems that a lot of K-1 filers are experiencing much slower processing times than earlier in the year. The quoted processing times is currently 5 months, so you are pretty much tied to waiting for the 5 month mark to arrive before you can request a status update.

I'm sorry, I know how frustrating it is :(

Hi there,

finally we have heard something.

My finace recieved the whole package back a few days ago. There was a NOA in there dated the 5th November, (we sent the package on 19th October) the rejection letter was dated the 3rd December.

They rejected because they did not open a seperate envelope with the checque in and so as far as they were concerned we did not include a fee. They had started to work on the package because key pieces of evidence had been put in a seperate envelope. (i.e. evidence of my flight over there in July and bank statements showing I had withdrawn money whilst there)

So even tho there was a NOA with our case number on they repeatedly told us they could not find any record of our package.

My finace phoned and emailed numerous times and they just kept telling us to wait.

They have also said we have lost our file date, so now we need to start again.

Hey ho, onwards and upwards!!!!

He called to USCIS today. And he talked to the person for an hour. They said they cant find our case number. They can see our paperwork is working but he has to send $20 more... He already checked his money order and it was taken by them $455 end of September. So he told them he paid all but they said it wasnt enough...it might computer problem they said. So he is gonna call them back on friday. We are confused about it. But should he send $20 more even if he paid enough??

Give me some advice please. Thank you.

I'm not sure what the $20 could be for. I know there is a 2129 yen fee for calling the consulate for inquiries. Could that be the source of the fee?

You've just scared me into checking my own case. I live in South Korea and my fiancée is in America. We thought the cheque being cleared was how you knew everything had begun and that it was a long waiting game from there.

We filed midway through September, but there's been no letter sent to her. I called the USCIS and the person on the phone said only she (the petitioner) can get the case number. I'm trying to contact her but she's on holiday at the moment.

As I said, this has scared me a little.

It'd be good to hear from the original poster to see what has happened in the past two weeks.
