Hello to all my visajourney family.

My warm Christmas greetings from Philippines and "Mabuhay" !

I am not new on this site, been here for a couple of months already, only i am not so familiar on how to post some topics or concerns.

We already received the NOA2 via online on November 23,2010 and the hard copy was received November 30, 2010 but we are still hanging on the notice since there is no exact details on what to do next and how long will it take before to proceed to the next step etc Besides, i also have a query about this concern of mine and i do hope i can ask your favor to answer things below.

My query runs this way:

1. How long does our Application would be at NVC as it is not specified in the NOA2 received?

2. What possible date i can get a call or receive a notice from the Consulate or manila Embassy for an interview?

3 At present I am working as permanent employee in the National Government Agency, can you please tell me what specific documents i need to secure from my work and how soon will i secure the necessary documents?

Thank you very much for giving time on my letter and i really appreciate and value whatever answer you make for my query.

God bless and more power

Sincerely,

tess129 (janus29_de@yahoo.com)

hello sis, i have seen this from somebody's post..this is what they did...I will send you the link also of the documents you will need for the interview..

5 business days after you receive your NOA2, call the NVC(NVC IS the Dept of State) at 603-334-0700, give them your USCIS receipt number and they will give you your case number it will be MNLXXXXXXXXXXX, this will be your DOS case number going forward, ask them if they have sent your case to Manila yet, if they have not yet, call back everyday until they tell you they have. They send your case electronically same day, and it usually takes about 4 days for them to DHL the hard copy to the Embassy in Manila, however once they send it electronically, you can start calling for an interview appointment, as it will be in the system. Once you call into the call center and make an appt, you can go for your Medical, as the call center will send you an email verifying your interview appt print this out, along with a copy of your NOA2 to your interview. I have heard of people going to medical, and just giving there MNL case number...you can try, but I cant verify if this is accurate or not!

So the procedure is, wait 3-5 business days after your NOA2, call the NVC, get your MNL case number, then start calling to schedule your interview, once you have done this, they will send you an email with your interview appointment verification, then go for your Medical.

Hi sis, yes, i appreciated your help and thank you so much as well, but what about those queries about my present status being employed presently in the government, is it not a big deal during my interview? I am confused on what necessary documents the Consulate will ask in relation to my work? :help:

My query runs this way:

1. How long does our Application would be at NVC as it is not specified in the NOA2 received?

-----Some says 1-2 weeks. Maybe your fiance can call the NVC now. Ask if you have Manila case number and if they already sent letter to your fiance.

2. What possible date i can get a call or receive a notice from the Consulate or manila Embassy for an interview?

------US Embassy in Manila won't call you. They will send you letter that they got your case and you can schedule for an interview.

3 At present I am working as permanent employee in the National Government Agency, can you please tell me what specific documents i need to secure from my work and how soon will i secure the necessary documents?

----- You dont have to secure anything from your work. Its your fiance who will send you I-134 (affidavit of support) and other documents like W2, Form 1040,current pay stubs, employment letter and other supporting documents that he earns 125% poverty line and can support you in US. You can start securing nbi, cenomar, birth certificate, proof of on going relationship.

Thank you very much for giving time on my letter and i really appreciate and value whatever answer you make for my query.

God bless and more power

Sincerely,

tess129 (janus29_de@yahoo.com)
