Receipt of NOA1 timeline?

Hello- I've been looking at the timelines for the first notice from USCIS (NOA1), and it's saying that files arriving on December 1st are now being processed. I'd included the form asking for email notification when the file was accepted, but still nothing yet.

I realize this may be way, way too early, but if it's past the average timeline (December 1st), and DHL confirms that the file was delivered on November 26th, do I have any reason to be concerned? Also, I know that my file was addressed to the lockbox in Lewisville, TX, but ended being delivered to some place called Coppell, TX. which according to Google Maps is just down the road. Is this normal?

If anyone can help me answer this, I'd appreciate it.

Thank you!

Mine arrived on Monday (Dec 6) morning and I received my NOA1 e-mail/text message Wednesday night. 2 days. FedEx said the address I entered was invalid, and warned me the package may not be delivered. I tripple checked it against the form instructions, crossed my fingers, and gave it to the courier.

My checking account still has $340 too much in it.

10/31/2010 - 12:05AM (Seoul Time) : Proposed, she said yes

There is no definite time for response for anyone really. It's just a matter of who gets your case and starts to work on it. We sent our 129f off 22nd Feb and they sat on it for a week we heard nothing till 9th March NOA1 so don't despair this is a long waiting game and we all are going through it be patient ok.

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month

Hello,

The waiting time to get your NOA-1 seems to vary for everyone. My petition package was signed for in Texas on Nov. 26, and I haven't heard anything yet, but I didn't send in the form to be notified by email/text, so I'm expecting a hard copy. However, they did cash my check.

  • 5 years later...

we sent ours to Texas lock box 10/24/16. They cashed the check 10/31/16 but we have not heard anything yet

This thread is almost 6 years old.

Waiting 2+ weeks to receive your NOA1 isn't overly unusual, hopefully you'll get it next week.
