Hi fellow vjers, I got a quick question... I sent my originals to the USCIS, so now do I also have to send my original marriage certificate to the NVC??? If so will the USCIS send me back my originals in time to send to the NVC??? Thank you as always for your fabulous support!!! Where would I be without all of you??? (F)

Originals are usually not required by USCIS. NVC on the other hand requires originals. You can send NVC the certified copies and pray that you get the originals back at the interview.

Citizenship next step!

USCIS won't send you the Marriage certificate at this time for you to send it to NVC, in the meantime you should get a certified copy of it for the NVC

After you get the VISA you can call USCIS and ask for your original Marriage certificate

Good Luck

Find a job you love to do, and you will never work another day in your life.

Ask him to get two certified copies...ine for NVC and one for the interview...chances are you won't need it for the interview but it's always best to be safe as documents do come up missing at times. All original documents are normally returned after the interview.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
