I met my fiance' when i was married and living in vietnam (i lived there from 2005-2008 working for a humanitarian organization). we fell in love. i had to return to the USA and obtained a divorce in june 2010. we filed our petition in july 2010 and got the NOA2 on november 30, 2010. we have a voluminous amount of evidence dating back nearly 2 years before my divorce was finalized. much of that evidence (over 2000 pages worth, as well as 12 trips to see my fiance in bangkok, hanoi, and europe) is over skype (chat, talk, and/or webcam). however, since my fiance' has changed jobs, she had to save our skype chats on MS Word. if you look at an MS Word document, it looks like someone could simply manufacture this evidence. is there anything i can do to vouch for its legitimacy? Thanks!

Since you met and started courting before you were divorced is more of a problem than presenting Skype evidence. Your going to have to address the issue of why you started a relationship with a VN national while still married. This is a major red flag at HCM.

Agreed... This IMO is what got us AP for 8 months... They really dig deep when they think the marriage is for immigration purposes ; meeting and starting a relationship before the divorce, to them is a big red flag as Kevin said... I am not sure if there is a way to totally address it to make the red flag go away, but documenting everything including the previous relationship and current living arrangements can help... they will likely want strong evidence that your ex does not live with you and something showing where exactly she lives.. they may go so far as to contact your ex to discuss the previous relationship and reason for divorce with her.. this was done with my ex...
