Hi All,

I am trying to reschedule my wife's immigration visa interview. The interview is scheduled for January 5th 2011 in U.S embassy in Islamabad. However my wife have a medical condition and she wont be able to fly in the next 6 months. I am curious if someone already went through this process of rescheduling the interview then please guide me as whats the best way to approach this. I have tried calling their Immigrant Visa department number (+92-51) 208-2700) but i could not get hold of the operator even after staying on the line for 2 hours :( Also i am running against time as January is just around the corner and i definitely would like to have this rescheduling done as quickly as possible.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Regards

Usman Amin

Best thing to do is to e mail the Embassy. Here is their e mail address <PakIVQuery@state.gov>

I hope it works. Try to ask for a date that will suit you so you do not have to wait for a long time or re-schedule again if thy give you a date that is too soon.e
