I had the same problem about the "age of 16" residency. I put the first date when I had my 16th birthday. Apparently, it was wrong. You should put the first date on your 15th birthday. They have a different counting. When you are born, they already consider that as your first year. So, 0-1 yrs. old is your first year, 1-2 years old is your 2nd year, etc... Hope that helps. That's the reason why my papers were delayed!

No, they don't count that way. A person born May 5, 1980 would need to show residence history back to May, 1996. However, it is important to note that the information as to start and end dates should be accurate, so if the person began living at the same place beginning September 1989 as they lived in May, 1996, then Sept. 1989 is the start date and you will have provided residence history back to age 9. Do the math. Be accurate.
