Hi again to all the readers and members of vj.i am a lil bit confused in answering some ? on the forms in my AOS although i have sample forms base on the forms i got directly here at vj but i definitely cannot answer it by myself just like on the I-765 employment authorization it says on the tips that i should write C9 for a 1 yr validity of EAD if so, should i write it on ?16 and on the form I-864 affidavit of support we are 3 when we arrived here in Seattle but my kids will not be included on the AOS just by later, how will i answer the ?a c,d,e on part 5 and so with ?10 and should i write down the names of my children on ?9 even they are not included on my AOS? thanks and Godbless

You're filing an adjustment of status (I-485) at the same time as your EAD (I-765), so yes, the category you will use is ( c ) ( 9 )

If you were just filing for EAD without an AOS I-485, then your category would have been ( a ) ( 6 )

On your I-864, all your children should be listed whether or not they are adjusting status with you. (Just note your cost for them adjusting later will be much more compared to adjusting at the same time as you).

02-23-2018: Date on NOA, retrieved from online account

02-23-2018: Date on Biometrics Appointment Letter (Biometrics Appointment at Jacksonville ASC on March 13, 10:00 a.m.)

03-08-2018: Biometrics complete

04-05-2018: Case status updated - Interview Scheduled on May 10, 2018, 10:15 a.m. :D

05-10-2018: Citizenship Interview - Passed English and Civics Tests, Recommended for Approval! :D 

06-19-2018: Received email and text notification: Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled; waited for letter to be uploaded on online account - it has been set on Wednesday, July 25, 3:00 p.m.

07-25-2018: I am now a U.S. Citizen!
