Hi everybody!

I just logged on to USCIS website today around 9:00 AM and the last updated date column in my profile still listed as 7/27/2010. After 3 hours around noon time, I logged on to USCIS website to check the status again. This time, the last updated date column in my profile shows 12/8/2010. Is that mean someone is working on my case now? How long will I expect to receive NOA2 once it has been touched today?

Thanks for all answers.

Your attention are greatly appreciate in this matter.

Thanks again.

If your case was approved it would say its approved. A touch means nothing but the fact that they moved or opend or added something to your file.

Not necessarily. A lot of people lately have been getting NOA2 hardcopies without getting an approved status or email.

OP- Someone is working on your case, it's probably your NOA2 or possibly an RFE. It's been nearly 5 months so I will bet the mortgage it's one of those :) Give it about a week to get the hardcopy. Good luck.

AOS for my husband

Yeah, I always keep my fingers crossed. 8 more days will be 5 months of waiting. I'm gonna go really crazy if I have to wait longer. I plan to visit my fiancee in February 2011 which is around our new year time and I hope all the paperworks at USCIS and NVC will be completed before I get back there. There might be a chance I can go with my fiancee to a consulate for interview and come back to US with her if we can get it approve at USCIS this week.

Even your USCIS or NVC completed this week. It took 2 months for VN consulate to setup her interview date. You should look around April or May. Remember US will be close for Xmas, and New Year, and VN consulate will be close on TET.

good luck.
