Preparing Package for DCF

As I am preparing the documents for the DCF package, is OK to write on the Top of the copy(s) thus identifying what the document is and how many pages there are...

IE

COPY OF PASSPORT FOR ________

showing all entrances and exits to and from Turkey as well as stating the number of pages

COPY OF MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE for ____________________ front and back view......

Do you think this will hinder or help when the "folks" at the consulate are reviewing the package?

yes good idea,list contents thats inclosed in you pacgage in a letter, the copy your marriage certificate front an back,copy of your passport high lite the entrance pages, all the papers you sumit, on the upper righ hand corner put your case number or your alien registration number, high lite it,

You would need to check with your Consulate.

London for example is very strict in their guidelines specifying that no such thing should be done, that documents aren't marked, aren't placed on seperate folders etc. And they have their own checklist too.

Even if they say ok, I wouldn't write on the actual photocopies though. I'd probably use those yellow post-its and mark each document this way.

If your Consulate doesn't have specific guidelines on how they want it done and they don't provide a checklist of their own, I'd only create my own checklist in the form of a cover note that I'd put on top of the package and would make sure I included all the documents in the exact order that are mentioned on the cover letter. This couldn't make it clearer.

NOT on the doc itself..use post-its and details are not necessary, just what docs they are

I second the Post-it idea... I used Post-it Flags (http://www.postitflags.com/) which helped me be super organized even though the officers took them off after I handed them in.

I forgot to add to just make sure it's something you can take off without altering the document in any way.
