Hi there

My interview is tomorrow unfortunately it's just now that I've notice he didn't sign form I-134. He will be here tomorrow though 10pm Manila time. I am planning to still go to the interview and tell them that my fiance will just have to go to the embassy personally to sign the form. Will that work? Oh I wish it will... :wacko:

whatever comes our way, we are gonna make it through

June 02, 2010 - filed K1 visa...

June 07, 2010 - package delivered to USCIS

June 11, 2010 - date of NOA1 but with wrong receipt number and it was transferred from CSC to VSC

June 14, 2010 - check cleared

June 17, 2010 - touched

I hate waiting...:P

Thank you so much. I so pray to God they will accept my reason. I have his itinerary that he will be here 10pm tomorrow...sigh...

The same thing happened to Chinook....there was a box on my I-129 that needed a tick mark. :bonk: Chinook submitted a new I-129 a few days later. It's nothing to worry about. During your interview, the consular officer simply will ask you to submit the signed I-134 at one of the windows after your fiancé has a chance to sign it. It should not delay your visa. :)

Well, personally this is what I would do -

He can give you power of attorney to sign for him. If you wanted to go to the trouble of having him fax you a signed copy of his permission to do it, you could, and bring that to the interview just in case.

But if he gives you power of attorney and you sign for him, there wouldn't be any reason for it to even come up at the interview.

It's nice when people respond with kindness and encouragement instead of being judgemental and cruel, isn't it?

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)
