Worried about I-134

Still have yet to receive an NOA2 on our petition, which is another worry, but now recently worried about the Affidavit of Support. I have been working over the past year full time and definitely make the poverty guidelines and over, but I just saw a post from someone where more evidence was required because the individual's tax returns from the previous year were small in comparison to current income. I am exactly in that spot because I only just started working full time last year. Prior to that, I was married to someone else, filing jointly, and only making 1/2 of what I make now working part-time. So, my 2009 tax return is going to look like #######. Thinking of having a co-sponsor, but will the co-sponsor be required to send in tax returns as well? That could also be a problem. Any advice?

Maybe this NOA2 wait is for a good reason...maybe won't come until I am able to file for 2010, which has me in much better shape. Who knows?

I find this process extremely frustrating. I've spent my life with men that I have had no business spending time with for the past 16 years of my life, and now find the truest love of my life and I can't be with him???? Makes no sense...

I-751 Removal of Conditions sent - 9/7/13

NOA1 received - 9/17/13

Biometrics appointment - 10/8/13

Removal of Conditions approved - 12/16/13

My situation is very close to yours. An only difference is that I was married before for 22 years. From what I learned -you can not have a co-sponsor for 134. You have to fill out the form on your own regardless of your income and have a letter explaining the situation, and another 134 form, bank info, taxes and employment verification let's say from your parents. It's like you are buying a car with cosigner.

Good luck!

In that case, the other 134 form would be the co-sponsor.
