Singapore Police Clearance --any updates?

As some of you may know, the Singapore government as of October 18, 2010 has stopped issuing to non-Singaporeans the Certificate of No Criminal Conviction (CNCC), which was equivalent to a police clearance. Here is the link: http://www.spf.gov.s...cncc_notice.htm

Does anyone have an update on this?

For those of us who need that clearance for the K-1 interview, this is an area of concern which has been discussed on an earlier post. As far as I know, there have been no changes on the US Embassy requirement for the specific case of Singapore. Some people have suggested writing the Singapore Police Force to request a written refusal, or to print out the notification of the new policy on their website. Is this sufficient? Has anyone gone for their interview without the clearance?

p.s. I am re-posting this as I had mistakenly first posted it in the wrong forum (requested help from an administrator to transfer it but got no response).

Dec 05, 2011: Received U.S. permanent resident status (AOS based on K-1 visa)

Dec 16, 2013: Removal of conditions on green card

Apr 28, 2015: Became a U.S. Citizen

Thanks. I tried your link but it doesn't seem to work.

I need help with this too. This is really confusing. Up until I saw this post, I thought that the Sinapore government gave out police reports to non-citizens as well. My fiancee is from the Philippines, and according to the US Embassy in Manila, living in a foreign country for longer than 6 months requires a police report. On the Singapore website it says that the police department needs "documentary proof" from the consulate/immigration authority, but I have been unsuccessful in getting through to the Embassy to ask them to send my fiancee the needed "documentary proof" for her to send to the Singapore police department so that they can process a police report for her to take to her interview in Manila. So what in the world are we supposed to do? My petition expires at the beginning of April. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't have any updates on this either. We haven't received our NOA2 yet (just filed in November) so I've put this on the back burner for a while. I was thinking of contacting the Singapore embassy in the Philippines, have you tried that?
