Aos sent to CSC and then to New York

Hello,

My wife and I filed the paper work for AOS in August 2010 (aprox 12 of Aug). By September 2010 we received a letter saying the paper work had been forwarded to CSC and we were excited after assuming we would receive the GC soon. Just recently, in late November, we received a letter saying the paper work had been forwarded to NY, which is our local office.

Some background info:

Biometrics was completed in September

received permission to work in October

received permission to leave the country in October

My guess is that this might mean we will have to do an interview after all but i'm not sure. Anyone have any more experience with this want to share their experiences? Thanks!

Sounds like CSC found something and desided that you will need to be interviewed. It happens, just prepare for an interview, gather up any pictures and original evidence items to bring with you to the interview when/if you get one.

and this is a good thing. many folks are stuck at the CSC month after month waiting for the

'short cut" no interview way. At least with an interview you have a definite date and not left twisting in the wind.
