Hi,

Just a quick question. I am about to apply for lifting my conditions but cannot find my UK passport anywhere in the house. I have turned the place upside down.

Do I need it and how can I get it replaced with the visa in it?

It is not possible to get your passport re-issued with the visa in it. The visa isn't required anymore anyway, it was a single use.

As for requiring a passport for ROC, I'm not sure. Hopefully someone else can tell you.

No you don't. You just need to submit copies (back and front) of your current GC. So unless you need to go somewhere you don't need your passport.

Do not sweat it. You do not need the passport for the I-751 just your green card. You still have the problem of not knowing where it is though. Apply for another at the embassy and report the other lost or misplaced.

beware of higher passport renewal costs from the embassy here compared to renewing in the UK.
