thats what got me looking :-) I have called several Travel Agencies and looked on line also, but not finding much about it...so I figured maybe someone here had any info.

I fly all the time and never heard of such a "fare." Sounds like more of a marketing gimmick than an actual fare class. Good luck to you regardless of the fare you pay.

Buy only from authorized agents or direct from the airline's website to be sure.

Marco, I dont know any good agency, but last time I needed, the best rate was with Copa Airlines (of course flights with connection). I also got good rates with decolar.com.br and submarinoviagens.com.br

Yes, buyer beware. Airlines are businesses. There's no valid business reason to give a "first time immigrant" (whatever that is) a discount for an airline ticket. If someone says there is one, it's a gimmick.
