You need credit - maybe not directly but certainly indirectly. Without credit, the entire economy goes to shite. That would affect you, wouldn't it?

You need a functioning economy, don't you? Without credit, there won't be one. You think this receission was bad? It was nothing compared to what we'd be looking at if the US defaults on it's debt. The only thing that will be of use will be your guns and ammo. Your credit won't matter.

Or, the government can just do with less and cut back. When citizens have hard times that is what they do. When the government has hard times they just take more from us. I say let them cut back.

If the government cuts back, many citizens will fall on hard times. With the exception

of foreign aid and the military-industrial complex, most of the government's spending

is on Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
