Layla threatens those who would think for themselves, but she ignores the fact that ijtihad, the practice of individual interpretation, is a long-standing part of Islamic jurisprudence. It is absolutely not demeaning to women if their husband has another wife or three other wives and arrogant comments like that from you reafirm my belief that you only want to make Islam into something it's not. Allah allows men to marry up to four wives in the Quran as long as he is just and fair with them. He reminds men later that it is not possible to be fair always in matters of the heart so even though the man may love one wife more than another he should not show it and treat them all the same to the best of his ability. That does not take back the permission that was already given it is just further clarification from our Lord.

So, since the Harry Potter books will be transmitted perfectly without alteration or flaw and will be around until the second coming does that make the Harry Potter books a miracle?

The Quran was transmitted as part of the oral tradition, and only written down much later thru the rememberances of those who were entrusted with its contents. That is why there is still a tradition of memorizing the Quran, as it is a link to the original transmission.

It is not demeaning to you because you have been brainwashed to believe it's ok for a man to take women as they like because they want to. This is not Allah's Sunnah nor that of the Prophet. The debate on this issue is one where I had the proof and you did not, yet you insist that you are correct. Again, your shallow answers are devoid of context, history and an overall understanding of Allah's intent.

That you wish to hold such views is definitely your choice, but I will oppose you every time you state that it is Islam or that all Muslims believe it, for neither is true.
