One of the biggest problems I'm having with this wait is the longer it is, the less I'm able to communicate with my honey because of the expense. It's somewhat of a catch 22 because come interview time they will see that your communication has waned and dwindled down to almost nothing and could possibly think that's indicative of the way your relationship has gone. I have said now it's even MORE important for me to be at the interview with him because of this which is even more money. I know USCIS isn't requiring that I do these things/make these changes but I'm not willing to gamble on what could happen if they aren't done. I'm trying not to be down regarding this but I am not happy that I have seen my fiancé in person since May. I have not felt the comfort of his arms since May. I feel like a big piece of me is missing and it's horrible to have that piece identified but you can't grab hold of it. This is something I really wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. But at the end of the day I know God has a plan for us so I will continue to hold on knowing that He is in control. *SIGH*

Just checked on I-765s (work auth.)as someone else stated in another thread that this time of year is when they get filed.

Well folks, this is why VSC is pretty much on hold for our petitions...

CSC I-765s (Work Auth.):

http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=12&office=2&charttype=1

CSC I-821s (TPS):

http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=21&office=2&charttype=1

VSC 1-765s (Work Auth.):

http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=12&office=6&charttype=1

VSC I-821s (TPS):

http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=21&office=6&charttype=1

Slammed from all sides it looks like...VSC was overloaded on work auth. forms and TPS's.

Looks like they are steamrolling through them based on the completion data in the graphs so hopefully they will get back to family based petitions in January, or the end of the year.

If this graph is outdated it could be GGGGGGGGGGreat news! you think?

This is very typical of the USCIS to dump loads of xtra work on VSC;VSC always catch up with the other SCs and

take the lead again.

Could someone explain what this graph means?

All other pending- Applications that have not been looked at?

Awaiting Customer Action- Applications that are waiting for further evidence from the petitioner?

Completions- Completed process?

Receipts- How is this different from completed?

Sorry if this seems dumb, but I want to have an accurate understanding of what this means.

3/04/11: Arrived at NVC

All other pending- Number of applications sitting around waiting for a yes or no (approval)

Awaiting Customer Action- Petitioner has gotten an RFE or some other request from USCIS they requires them to do something

Completions- Approved or Denied. Petition has been completed by USCIS.

Receipts- New applications/petitions USCIS has recieved (dont ask about their wording, makes no sense to me but thats what it means)
