Congratulations! A couple questions

By cenomar I am guessing you mean the CEMAR certificate of marriage that you get when you apply for a cenomar after married?

What is marriage index i've never heard of that is it required?

Marriage Index is the same with CEMAR, the one that you're telling me....

Yes, that's correct. If you apply for a CENOMAR and you have never been married, what you will receive is a CENOMAR. But if you are already married, what you will receive is a CEMAR/Marriage index (a list of marriages where your name appears).

05-10-2018: Citizenship Interview - Passed English and Civics Tests, Recommended for Approval! :D

You're welcome! Learned that the hard way after my marriage was annulled...for some silly reason I thought the marriage would be "erased" from their records after the annulment was final and recorded at NSO. :P lol Your name is on the marriage index forever.

i have a question. the wife and kids' interview is next tuesday. we were thinking of having wife's sister go with them to embassy so that wife has help with the kids. are you allowed to have someone go in with you to help you look after the kids?

06/21/2010: Called USCIS to let them know to update my I-130 from an LPR petition to a USC petition.

06/28/2010: Petition updated to a USC petition (Oldest son)

06/30/2010: Petition updated to a USC petition (Wife & youngest son)

07/19/2010: G-325A returned. Incomplete.

07/30/2010: Completed G-325A mailed back via certified mail

08/04/2010: Certified mail delivered at Laguna Niguel

08/07/2010: Touched - UCSIC received reply to RFE

08/13/2010: I-130 APPROVED!!! (recvd email update)

10-14-2009 : Met for the first time in Cebu, had to go back 11-1-2009

01-14-2010 : Moved to Cebu

02-25-2010 : Married

10-14-2010 : DCF I-130 at Manila Embassy

10-21-2010 : Additional requested supporting evidence received at embassy

11-05-2010 : I-130 application approved

11-11-2010 : Received Packet 3 via Fed Ex with MNL Case #

11-18-2010 : Packet 3 (DS-230 and Interview request) received at embassy

11-22-2010 : Calling to try and get an interview date set!

12-16-2010 : Medical completed in Manila at St. Lukes

12-17-2010 : Flying back to the US to prepare for Maricel's arrival

01-12-2011 : Interview Set

01-12-2011 : APPROVED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

01-20-2011 : Receive Visa

01-25-2011 : CFO Seminar completed - ready to go!

02-12-2011 : Leave Manila

hi condz...sons are 10 & 5. that's what we're thinking too. we're just worried because when the kids get bored, they tend to go in two separate directions. we were hoping that a babysitter can come along inside to help the wife with the kids. at such a young age, they already know how to divide and conquer :D

My daughter was 10 when we attended the interview; the officer even asked her a few questions (your 10 year old has to answer unassisted). If you wish to bring a family friend or relative to the Embassy to look after your 5 year old, that person should present two valid photo IDs with signature (e.g. passport, driver's license, SSS ID, employee ID).
