Sweet, your approved and now you have to get your loved one to the states.. Well, after countless googling and searching for a good price for a 1 way ticket.. I finally found one under 1,000 lol. After reading up on how everyone else managed to get this part. I started to ask travel agencies for a "First time Immigrant Discount!" and thats exactly what I got.. 200 off my wife's plane ticket :) I went through www.mangotours.com and called them for the best price. goodluck to you guys 650$ for her ticket from MNL to LAX

... when I looked on there it was over $2,000 for me :P I found $1,086 for 1 way 2 people tickets with CheapOAir.com I think. but of course my situation is 1 way 1 person ticket, and 2 1way 2ppl tickets, lol Orbits, Cebu Pacific Air, and CheapOAir, total trip estimated $2400-3500 including cabs and hotels.... From Nashville to Davao, Davao to Incheon, Incheon to Nashville, lol So dunno if that helps anybody or if it does, especially those looking to go to Philippines.... course my reason for Korea is I'm military and need to get the wife enrolled in the system, so that leg of the trip could be removed from your plans... maybe just a roundtrip for u and see if airlines can get 1 way for your spouse on same flight or something *shrugs*

just my 2 cents

good day..it's nice to hear that...hmmm..just wanna share..coz I got "scammed"(or it's just the travel agent got confused) regarding that "1st time immigrants"..coz under Phil Airlines(if it's the plane she will fly with), K visas are not considered under their discounts for "1st time Immigrants"...the travel agent gave us a good price for 660 dollars, then whenever I went there to purchase the ticket and she asked for my visa copy on the passport and she saw that I'm on a K visa(coz K visas are non-immigrant visas)..she said, she made a mistake and that we couldn't get the discount...hmmm...good at least my husband(fiance before) was able to bought me a 1 way regular plane ticket going here in SFO thru Expedia(with Phil Airlines)..It just cost us 720 dollars(the cheapest during that time, Christmas is coming, so it might be expensive now)....sometimes, it's also better to buy for a regular plane ticket than getting those discounts....anyways, that's really what life is about,,nothing is free!!...well,to LOVE is free....God bless on her trip..may she have a safe trip back into your arms...be blessed!!

I flew China Airlines when I visited my girl in PH. San Fran to Manila was $600 w/tax. Right now you can still get the same ticket for just under $700. They usually discount about 30-45 days in adavance.

As far as the flight and service.... Outstanding. Only bad part is a 12 hour stop in Tapei but Tapei is an incredible airport. Free internet and TV everywhere.
